Hello, What do folk think about an IRC channel for www-team? I'm Rey and I would like to throw my hat in and help out where I can. Primarily a front end developer I have a fair bit of experience with static generators (Jekyll, Middleman, nanoc). Words I like include HTML/CSS, HAML/SASS, responsive frameworks, Grunt, Compass and all that good stuff. Rey -- reyhan.org

Hi, my name is siddhartha, I am a undergrad student in IT, in my senior (read 12 hours per week of coursework) year. Will have lots of time to lurk and contribute. I like the words usability, design, static sites etc, i like to do Python/js/HTML/CSS with interest for perl/ruby too. I know my way around Linux too, a little bit. +1 for jekyll. I think the "homepage for novices, links from there for other audiences" is a suitable idea because that unifies everything (easier to maintain, translate etc). Hi Lunar, By static web pages, you just mean at the client side, correct? As in, we would use Django or Rails (say) to generate pages and then they'd be skimmed by the mirrors? Just double checking there's not hidden complexity in that system that 've not understood :) Also +1 for Git version control. As you can tell, I'd also throw my hat in for using Rails or Django as the framework... Documentation and Writing Needs

Hi all, I'm new to the Tor project, but I've contributed to similar projects in the past. I found this mailing list through Liberationtech's Twitter feed, and I'm more than happy to help with any writing and documentation needs. If there are parts of the website that need rewrites or proofreading, then I'm happy to handle it. Could someone point me to a list of topics that need documentation or updates? Will

Hello, all. I am a physician with internet authoring experience. Where I can be of help to this effort, I think, is that I am one of the "novice users new to online privacy, anonymity and tor” but with a good understanding of technical issues. I’ve been looking for a way to ‘contribute’ to online privacy efforts and I hope you’ll let me lurk and contribute where I can. -- Clark Venable
