New Tor site mirror at tor.eprci.net

Hi, I've set up a mirror of the Tor website at http://tor.eprci.net/. It is currently available via HTTP, and is set up to sync with your main server every six hours. On the Tor help desk, I often distribute mirror links to individuals who cannot access the tpo home page. I find that I usually only send links from mirror sites that use HTTPS with CA signed SSL certificiate. I find that if I send an email response linking to a mirror page that requires visitors to click through a warning, I often have to send an additional email later, expaining to the user that the site is not compromised, although all other times they see this warning in their browser, they should listen. I'm not sure if this applies to your mirror or not, but I do find that the mirrors I send individuals to the most are those with user-friendly HTTPS.

lighttpd and web mirror

Does anyone have experience running a tor website mirror on lighttpd? A hosting company offered to run mirrors if we can get them working on lighttpd. I've experimented with a test system and ran into css and rewrite rules in .htaccess files. -- Andrew pgp 0x6B4D6475

Mirror traffic control

I just submitted two new mirrors to add to the list. Is there is some kind mechanism, where one could temporarily automatically de-list her mirror once a traffic threshold has been reached. Sort of like Tor's own accounting mechanism? I am quite happy to offer my unused traffic allocation but prefer not to incur new charges once I reach my limit. :-)

Hi, Please add the following system: http://www.torproject.fr For the moment it's http dist and website. More services are probably following. Organisation would be Tor Supporter and Country, err. I'm french/german, the domain is french and the system operates out of germany. I'm really trapped ;-) I guess france would look better considering the fact that there are way less french entries on that list than german ones. I leave it up to you, i don't know.
