Hi,
I set up a new mirror of TorProject distributions.
URL: http://www.netgull.com/torproject/
Update frequency: Every six hours
Organization: NetGull
Location: Dallas, USA
Please, add it to your mirror list page.
Thanks,
Andrea

Hi,
I don't know who is responsible for the mirror instructions webpage at
> https://www.torproject.org/docs/running-a-mirror.html.en
but I'd like him/her to update the nginx configuration to include a
directory index for the dist-directory.
server {
listen 0.1.2.3:80;
server_name your.example.com;
root /var/www/mirrors/torproject.org;
index index.html.en;
location ^~ /dist/ {
autoindex on;
}
}
I am no nginx expert but this would be the conclusion of this bullet
point:
> Allows "Directory Index / Indexes" (Index viewing) of the /dist
directory.

Hello,
I have set up a mirror for the /dist files, which can be accessed trough
the following protocols:
* HTTP: http://mirrors.go-part.com/tor/dist/
* FTP: ftp://mirrors.go-part.com/tor/dist/
* RSYNC: rsync://mirrors.go-part.com/tor/dist/
The mirror runs over a VPS located at Tokyo, Japan and I would like to get
it added to the mirrors list.
Please let me know if there is any other step I need to fulfill.
Kind regards,
Otoniel Ortega
My mirror runs on EC2 and my bandwidth costs are less than $5/month.

I have an instance on AWS, with ubuntu server. Can you walk me through how
to install and set up apache, which ports to open, and how to start the
mirror?
Thanks,

Hello,
http://tor.hardkor.info/ is down and should never be up again.
You should remove it from the mirrors list.

Hello.
Please add my mirror to the Tor mirror list. The URLs are:
http://199.175.55.215/ and http://[2607:8b00:2::fed9:6818]/
This server is located in Chicago, and does not have an associated organization. It is updated every 4 hours via cron job.
Thanks.
I'd also like to make a couple of observations about the Tor mirrors list as seen at https://www.torproject.org/getinvolved/mirrors.html.en.
1. I see that about a quarter of the mirrors listed have an Out-Of-Date or Unknown status. If there is some list-cleaning algorithm in use, it's not working.
2. It would be nice if there were date listed along with the status of a given mirror, as an indication of when the confirmation was done.
Thanks again.
