Hey List, i set up a new mirror: Ich Eben,Tor Supporter,DE,Germany,DE,TRUE,TRUE,No,http://reichster.de/mirrors/torproject…,,,, Admin Email is tor(a)reichster.de, update interval is set to 6 hour via cron. All non-https traffic is redirected to https, the server is running with a free startssl certificate. This server is also running a tor middle node, is this some sort of a problem? Regards Andreas

Hello there, Thanks for checking out my request. Just your luck that the server suffered a hardware failure and is just recovering now. The mirror is available at http://alebcay.mooo.com:8080 without passing through CloudFlare. At the very bottom of https://www.torproject.org/docs/running-a-mirror.html.en, I added some new info about setting up a mirror. "In order to add your mirror, please send a single, comma delimited line of text based on this file to the mirrors list. Your mirror will then be added manually if it passes availability testing and your provided information is confirmed. Do not run your mirror behind a content delivery network (such as Akamai, Cloudflare, Fastly, etc), as most of them block access from countries where the mirror is needed the most." Hi, I would like to notify whoever administrates the mirror list that I am now operating a new mirror. Domain: tor.miglix.eu Admin E-Mail: tor(a)miglix.eu (please don't advertise admin(a)miglix.eu!) Location: Germany Update interval: 6 hours, as requested IPv6: Fully compatible DNSSEC: Not available (sadly) The TLS (X.509) certificate is issued by CAcert, this might raise issues because the CAcert root certificate is mostly not included in commercial browsers (it will cause a big, fat "Server is not trusted" warning in most browsers). The server redirects all non-HTTPS request to HTTPS. It only allows TLS v1.2 with PFS without more or less unsecure ciphers (e.g. RC4). (Basically, it only allows TLSv1.2 + DH variant + AES256.) The server also runs other services such as a complete mail system and a Tor non-exit relay, but is normally not under high load. Question: What traffic can I expect to my mirror? Hi there, I've been running a couple of Tor relays for some time but have some spare resources/bandwidth so figured why not run a Tor site mirror as well. I've setup a mirror at https://torproject.nexiom.net/. The site mandates HTTPS (seems sensible for Tor) and HTTP will redirect to the equivalent HTTPS URL. The site is set to rsync every six hours and is located in the US. A Tor relay also runs on the same box but I assume this shouldn't be an issue in itself. I can purchase an additional IP address if this is desirable to separate out the relay traffic and the site traffic at the IP level but am hoping this isn't necessary. Please let me know if this is of use to the Tor project and if any additional details or configuration changes are required. Keep up the great work :) Cheers, -SDL
