Hi, I just set up my first relay and as I'm living in Germany it needs to be a non exit relay :-( However in arm -> connections it shows up as "exit" in the last column.
From my configuration /etc/tor/torrc
ExitPolicy reject *:*
This is also confirmed by the head row of arm which contains the entry
exit policy: reject *:*
So the only thing that confuses me is the arm connections view. Is this a bug or do I simply misunderstand the tool? I googled for this but I only found another unanswered question.
The relays fingerprint is 1FF50B543DC87A6F0D1F3B44BDCCAF39B07C91AC
And globe.torproject.org says that it is not a exit relay but the information there is old (I changed the ORPort and DirPort listing several hours ago).
Sorry for the noise but I really want to be sure.
Thanks

In the Germany where I do live I can run an exit node - it is one among over 100 german exit nodes. You might verify it here https://torstatus.blutmagie.de/
arm is outdated AFAIK - atagar is working on a successor.

Yup, that is correct - a rewrite of arm (now called Nyx) is in the works. Arm was a little dumb in how it labels circuits, showing the end point as an 'exit' even if a circuit was purely internal. This understandably causes confusion on occasion.

Ok. Thanks to both of you. And yes, I do know that it is possible to operate an exit relay in Germany but I choose not to because I neither have the time nor the resources to deal with the problems that according to some Internet research comes with this. I simply hope that the relay helps some people.
Sorry for the noise & thanks for the prompt answers.
