The idea behind this project is that the student would be working on researching and implementing a test based on the Encore paper: <a href="https://conferences.sigcomm.org/sigcomm/2015/pdf/papers/p653.pdf">https://conferences.sigcomm.org/sigcomm/2015/pdf/papers/p653.pdf</a>. This test runs inside of a regular browser (without the need of a plugin) and is able to check reachability of websites.
