I haven't been able to access BA website from home for the last few weeks.
I have failed to get any other answer on the phone that to try using Internet Explorer or to wait for things to maybe get fixed. Twitter support was not more helpful.
I am now wondering is this is because I run a (non exit) relay. Can anyone confirm if they also have the problem? http://ba.com/

Hi,
do you host your mentioned relay on the IP which you use to access the website?

Hi,
there are some reports that some website operators block all IPs which host Tor nodes. They don't differ between Exit- and Non-Exit Relays.

Yes, which is why I am asking here to confirm this is the case before trying to contact them again with that information.

I can confirm this.
From my home IP:
$ curl http://ba.com <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> <html><head> <title>301 Moved Permanently</title> </head><body> <h1>Moved Permanently</h1> <p>The document has moved <a href="http://www.britishairways.com/">here</a>.</p> </body></html>
From one of my relays (non-exit):
$ curl http://ba.com <html><head><title>Request Rejected</title></head><body>The requested URL was rejected. <br> <br> Please contact our support team on <br> Telephone: (+44) 0344 493 0787 option 3 <br> (calls charged at local rate within the UK) <br> <br> Daily 06:00-20:00 UK time. <br> <br> Please quote support ID 13240401227566764688

Running this from my non-exit relay I get the same error. Works as expected on an another machine on the same IP range that isn't a tor relay, so I guess they're actively blocking them.

The error page got updated and now points to http://www.brightcloud.com/tools/change-request-ip-reputation.php where I requested a reputation change and gave an explanation, hopefuly they will at least stop blocking non exit relays...
I tried going to ba.com today from a non-exit relay, and it works now! ( ba.com redirects me to www.britishairways.com.) Thanks, Pascal.

Thanks!
On my home connection (no Tor involved) I can access the site. However on my exit IP I can also access the page :-)

But it does happen. BBC block you on bbc iPlayer for example if your IP is listed as TOR anything. One reason I have my exit node a different IP. BBC reasoning maybe copyright and that still you have to be UK based to access the site, but annoying when non-tor use could not access as well. To be fair when I swapped TOR IP over BBC took my original IP off their blacklist when asked.
