Hello www-team, Would anyone like the fame and fortune of redesigning the current Sponsors page? We have an open ticket, https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/10013 to redesign the page to make it easier to see who is funding us, how much they funded us over time, and generally make the entire page more reader friendly? The challenge is that the final output has to use our WML. The raw page is here, https://svn.torproject.org/svn/website/trunk/about/en/sponsors.wml Any takers? -- Andrew pgp 0x6B4D6475

Is something like this what people had in mind? If that's acceptable or only a few things to change I can do it now but lacking time to do anything fancy. Took a bad screenshot and unfortunately lost the changes so ignore the blue highlighted stuff. [image: Inline image 2] On Wed, Mar 26, 2014 at 11:21 AM, Andrew Lewman <andrew@torproject.is>wrote:

I would suggest designing it in a way where sponsor logos can be prominently displayed. On Wed, Mar 26, 2014 at 12:22 PM, Olssy <olssy1@gmail.com> wrote:

I'll try and download some logos for the sponsors tomorrow and whip up a couple of different ways to showcase them. It might slip till Friday if tomorrow is too busy for me. On Wed, Mar 26, 2014 at 5:02 PM, Andrew Lewman <andrew@torproject.is> wrote:

Just threw two different styles with logos together at http://tor.harrytuttle.com click on "one" or "two" to see the 2 styles. I didn't fix the alignment of the text in relation to the logo yet as the HTML structure is getting in the way a bit but it is doable with this structure, just takes a bit more time. Also, I copied the logos I could find on the internet and have not re-sampled them to the correct resolutions so a few of them are very small as they are a lot more wide than high and I'm limiting them all to 100pxX100px On Wed, Mar 26, 2014 at 5:39 PM, Olssy <olssy1@gmail.com> wrote:

Olssy:

Did this go somewhere? We'd like to link to it in this week's Tor Weekly News, but I've tried various browsers and I can't see anything.

Sorry about that, it's up now! But I haven't had time to re-sample the logo's yet so it's not looking any better than last time. I have a free hour tomorrow morning so I'll get those logos looking nice and align the links if the rest is acceptable. On Mon, Mar 31, 2014 at 4:16 PM, harmony <harmony01@riseup.net> wrote:

Just letting you know that I'm a bit swamped with work so I haven't had time to fix the logo resolutions but I have put up another design where the logos are bigger and placed on top and underneath the links so the logos that are very wide still look good. Placing them next to the link caused the wide logos to be very small in height. On Mon, Mar 31, 2014 at 4:55 PM, Olssy <olssy1@gmail.com> wrote:

Getting a little bogged down myself this week. If someone assigns me something specific I can produce though. Lance On April 1, 2014 8:42:48 AM EDT, Olssy <olssy1@gmail.com> wrote:
