TOR notice.log is spammed with "Certificate not yet valid" warnings

Hi, since 0.2.3.6-alpha the logs of my instances are full of these messages: 14:56:23 [WARN] (certificate lifetime runs from Nov 3 16:15:34 2011 GMT through Nov 2 16:15:34 2012 GMT. Your time is Nov 03 13:56:23 2011 GMT.) 14:56:23 [WARN] Certificate not yet valid: is your system clock set incorrectly? Any idea how I can get rid off these warnings? Best regards, Klaus

it's much worse than warnings only; the new version also breaks at least one major server that is a few meters ;) away from its stratum1 timeserver. Normally 137.56.163.46 with secondary 137.56.163.64 pushes four exit nodes including two directory servers. Now the processes die like rabbits. Tor 0.2.3.7-alpha (git-a1a44384422174d9) on Linux x86_64 Any developper wants logging? cheers, teun

If it crashes or asserts, stack traces would be ideal. (Best place to report bugs is trac.torproject.org, if it's not too much trouble. That way we can't lose track of anything.) cheers, -- Nick

Sorry there -- just wait for the next release. This is bug 4370 (https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/4370 ). See also bug 4371 (https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/4371 ). -- Nick
