Hi all, Today on my relay I observed the below messages 2 hours back. Tor reported address change from IP_IN_INDIA to IP_IN_FRANCE from SRC_1. The next second SRC_2 reported address change from IP_IN_FRANCE to IP_IN_INDIA . How could it be possible?. Is this a normal behavior?.
Mar 10 08:06:52 NoNameForHost Tor[27279]: Our IP Address has changed from <MY_IP_INDIA> to <IP_IN_FRANCE>; rebuilding descriptor (source: SOURCE_IP_1__). Mar 10 08:06:53 NoNameForHost Tor[27279]: Our IP Address has changed from <IP_IN_FRANCE> to <MY_IP_INDIA>; rebuilding descriptor (source: SOURCE_IP_2__).
PS: I'm not posting IP addresses but If you somebody wants the IP address too I will post them.
Thanks

Same happened to me on the 7th: Mar 07 07:55:03.000 [notice] Our IP Address has changed from <correct IP in UK> to <IP at OVH in France>; rebuilding descriptor (source: 46.105.44.4). Mar 07 08:15:26.000 [notice] Our IP Address has changed from <IP at OVH in France> to <correct IP in UK>; rebuilding descriptor (source: 5.9.6.163).

Fun. We used to have some bugs around that, but we haven't had bugs there in a long time.
So yes, if you could post all the details, including which relay is yours, that would help us figure out what's up here.
Have you set anything in the "Address" line of your torrc?
If not, does your computer have a public IP address, or a hostname that resolves locally to a public IP address?

Hello Roger,
Tor-relay https://atlas.torproject.org/#details/22E410FCE61411A9091AB8E041E838FFE6BB15... torrc is very simple. ORPort 443 Exitpolicy reject *:* Nickname IndiaTorLand DisableDebuggerAttachment 0
It happened again today. This time it was worse it took 7 mins to detect correct IP and it had an impact on relays uptime.

Since the IP 46.105.44.4 is the same in both cases, and that IP reported my address wrongly again today, I think we can assume the problem is at 46.105.44.4 ? I have no Address or Host line, I just let the network detect my (dynamic) address. GD
