Hey there J
I just want to name a good provider for TOR Relays and Exits.
I am running a small VPS on Scaleway.com , which costs me about 3€ a month. Unlimited traffic!
Scaleway is running ARM-systems, so ArchLinux is recommended.
Check my Exit on Atlas:

I can second that. I am running 2 nodes there. On in Paris and one in Amsterdam. Works like a charm.

Hi,
looks like they are an Online SAS reseller.
as_number: AS12876 as_name: Online S.a.s.
That AS is the second most used autonomous system for tor relays
CW fraction: 13.8252% guard probability: 16.6793% exit probability: 9.4897% https://compass.torproject.org
So from a diversity point of view it is a bad choice I guess.
Hi, for the diversity where i can take one at nearly the same price?

Well, you can search for small providers in small countries. I have a Tor relay in Moldavia, for example (MivoCloud).

But note that Mivocloud's ToS specifically says:
"2.11 The Services may be used only for lawful purposes. MivoCloud strictly prohibits:
Tor Exit relays; SPAM; any kind of DoS; Scam, Malware, Botnet, Phishing;"
So, no exits.

Hi Mick,
that's true for their ToS. I do know at least 2 exit nodes from that AS, though. If you use the reduced exit policy and work with them if they get too many abuse complaints for your VPS, you can run an exit.
I decided to run a middle relay only, though, as they got MANY abuse complaints for my VPS.

There are no exits in AS39798 as of 2017-02-24 09:00 according to onionoo data, do they operate on more than one AS?
You are right, there aren't any of them anymore (I had data from 2-3 months ago in mind, so my assumption was outdated, then).
In that case, I have to correct myself: MivoCloud is a good hoster for middle relays, but it seems, other exit relays had the same problems I had and decided to only serve as a middle relay.
Best, Michael
Flokinet or Trabia have been perfect for running relaxed Exit nodes for me. Sent from ProtonMail Mobile

They are not a reseller, they are a part of the family.

The have x86 ones at the same price which much better tor performance
