Yep. 'ps ax' output looks like:

Fixed, nyx should now provide better messages when unable to connect on FreeBSD.

Yep, that's it. I commented out lines 90..98, both of the try/except blocks with os.putenv(). The error goes away and nyx seems to run fine.
Perfect. Dropped the try/catch clauses - we'll just avoid these calls on FreeBSD...
