Looks like AI spam is becoming more common, see the last thread "Inquiry Regarding the Deprecation of Azure CDN (azureedge.net)"[0]. To stop it I have enabled the moderation of new messages to the list as a temporary solution.

Any subscriber that was already a member of the list before the migration to mailman3[1] is not moderated and can write directly to the list. But any new subscriber will be moderated. I would propose that we unmoderate manually after the first email if is not spam.

But let's discuss it next thursday.
