 thanks for the heads up! it is quite a big ramp up, but i think we should
 be able to handle it in the long term.

 in the short term, is there a way you could ramp it up progressively? say
 bump by 500 emails / 5 minutes increment (first 4h: 1000, 8h: 1500, etc,
 until you reach 5000) to not upset other mail servers?

 i'm also wondering if we might want to make the crm boxes send emails on
 their own so they can build their own reputation... but i guess that's
 part of a larger question for us at TPA on whether we want to do that at
 all...

 in any case, it would be great if you could give us a heads up before you
 do the next mailing with a larger rate, just so we can monitor the
 situation more closely then...

 i'll see if my other TPA folks want to weight in before resolving...
