It's the network.  The bridge itself is well maintained and is stable. 
However, it's sitting on our CS "research" network.  We have a new-ish
project that combines censorship resistance with network programming,
and it involves a fancy new p4-enabled switch.  Experiments related to
that project are causing network-wide outages.

I'll ask them to hold off and figure out a way to make sure that pontem
(the Georgetown bridge) isn't affected.
