Hello!
I have just started up a new exit node using nusenu's wonderful Ansible scripts (thank you kindly).
I would like the hostname to be public, I wonder if I have misconfigured as the hostname does not display here:
https://torstatus.blutmagie.de/router_detail.php?FP=b0a8f23372309d3589e70bd3...
I have the following in my configuration:
ORPort 198.100.159.72:9000 DirPort 198.100.159.72:9001 Address tor-exit-01.awakening.io
Any thoughts?

The hostname is taken from reverse DNS (aka PTR record) of the IP address, but in your case:
$ host 198.100.159.72 Host 72.159.100.198.in-addr.arpa. not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)
The owner of that IP address has to set the reverse DNS record, or in your case, it's likely you can set that yourself via a function in your hoster's (OVH) control panel.
In any case, you don't need the "Address" line with hostname in torrc.
Hi! Is it running at OVH? They don't allow running any kind of anonymizing services on their VPS or dedicated servers, as written in their terms and conditions ?!

Sebastian,
Thanks for this, indeed it would appear the VM is running in OVH data centers. However, I do not have a service agreement with OVH and thus I believe _I_ am not breaking one.
My service agreement is with "pulseservers.com", a small provider who is fully aware that I am running an exit node on their VPS (I read the service agreement and even double-checked with them, they recommended a reduced exit policy).
It is, of course, possible that pulseservers.com is in breach of their service agreement with OVH. I suspect it is also possible that pulseservers has a reseller-oriented service agreement with OVH that allows this.
My inclination is to let sleeping dogs lie, however I am happy to act on wisdom from folks on this list.

Just a warning: There is a good chance that Pulsserver will fuck you over.

Care to elaborate? Does "got fucked" translate to "got kicked off after repeated abuse complaints?" That would probably not surprise anyone who's tried to run an exit on a VPS.
I'd be inclined to say Colin has done his due diligence, and there's not really any need to worry about OVH policies. On the other hand, there's not much point to running one if it's common knowledge it won't last long with this provider.
I have a Exit Relay running on Pulseservers, my node got suspended once over abuse complaints (sending SPAM) but I adjusted the Exit Policy (ReducedExitPolicy, with some additional restrictions such as: No email/IMAP/SMTP/POP, SSH(22), RDP, FTP). A second abuse complainted was about a large number of SSH connections, so I adjusted the ExitPolicy, case closed.
Besides that: Works fine.

Thanks all for sharing thoughts.
Pulseservers suggested the additional restrictions mentioned here by Robin. That is what's in place on my node now.
niftybunny, I would also like to hear the details of your story.
Will keep you all informed in the event things go wrong with pulseservers.
Uncertainty around service providers is yet another reason I chose the ansible project as a starting point.
I tried to use more than 1 CPU core and the reseller got on my server and disabled tasks without telling me. Under European law you are not allowed to access a rented server without the owners permission. He also disabled my services after I used 30 TB from the 100 TB free traffic. So you do not have 100 Tb free traffic (btw, thats incoming AND outgoing) at all. I had no abuse mails at all but the owners of Pulsservers was the worst ISP I have encountered in a very very long time. Ended up with a Paypal dispute from my side. 0/10 would not recommend.
