request for comments: The Tor Relay Guide (Draft)

The #Tor relay documentation on www.torproject.org has shown its age and some of us have been working on writing something new, currently it lives on trac but will live on a website eventually. The Tor Relay Guide https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/wiki/TorRelayGuide It also features instructions to setup automatic package updates for multiple Linux distributions. I'd like to get your feedback! The preferred location is via email or on the trac ticket: https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/24497 thanks, nusenu -- https://mastodon.social/@nusenu twitter: @nusenu_

PS: please list these BSD operating systems as supported by Tor on its official website! KR,

good point! ... it might also be the case that I will come with some patch or "update"
george, I did get your ticket! thank you for creating it. https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/24883 alison, nusenu, which way would it be better for you if I would like to send this new tutorials/articles? just edit the trac's wiki page? should I clone 'project/web/webwml' and provide you some diff? KR, -- Vinícius Zavam keybase.io/egypcio/key.asc

you can do minor edits directly, major edits should be comments on this ticket: https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/24497 -- https://mastodon.social/@nusenu twitter: @nusenu_

Alison Macrina:
The current page [1] lists a few BSDs already but after https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/24881 is implemented this page will be a link to the new guide. [1] https://www.torproject.org/docs/tor-doc-relay.html.en -- https://mastodon.social/@nusenu twitter: @nusenu_
