The #Tor relay documentation on www.torproject.org has shown its age and some of us have been working on writing something new, currently it lives on trac but will live on a website eventually.
The Tor Relay Guide https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/wiki/TorRelayGuide
It also features instructions to setup automatic package updates for multiple Linux distributions.
I'd like to get your feedback! The preferred location is via email or on the trac ticket: https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/24497
thanks, nusenu

if you need anything related to a draft for DragonflyBSD, FreeBSD (same for hardenedbsd), NetBSD or OpenBSD...
https://github.com/torbsd/torbsd.github.io/blob/egypcio/docs/pt/relays.txt
it might be in portuguese, but of course the technical part is the same (to change the data and log dir doesn't see to bother, I think)
this very same branch also hosts bridge-based setups, if you want.
PS: please list these BSD operating systems as supported by Tor on its official website!

alison, nusenu, which way would it be better for you if I would like to send this new tutorials/articles? just edit the trac's wiki page? should I clone 'project/web/webwml' and provide you some diff?

you can do minor edits directly, major edits should be comments on this ticket:

The current page [1] lists a few BSDs already but after https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/24881
is implemented this page will be a link to the new guide.
