Dear all,
I am running a few Tor relays for more than 100 days. Since last Friday, I am getting the following message on each relay:
[warn] http status 400 ("Fingerprint is marked rejected -- if you think this is a mistake please set a valid email address in ContactInfo and send an email to bad-relays@lists.torproject.org mentioning your fingerprint(s)?") response from dirserver '171.25.193.9:443'. Please correct.
The message above is also reported for other dirservers and prevents my relay for being online (they are all offline currently).
I am just running Tor 0.4.2.6; no other activity is performed on any of my relays. I have already contacted the bad-relays list for the first relay offline; afterwards, I realized that all my few relays are off-line after more than 100 days of normal activity.
Do you have similar experience?
Sincerely, Leo

What did bad-relays say in their response?
A lot of people on the bad-relays list work during the week, and are offline on the weekends. (And lots of those people have multiple roles.)
So you might have to wait another day or two for an answer.
afterwards, I realized that all my few relays are off-line after more than 100 days of normal activity.

bad-relays can give you a specific explanation, because they manage relay rejections.
We can try to give you some general help on this list.
Here's a few things you can check right away: * Did you set ContactInfo ? * Did you set MyFamily ?
For more details, see section 5 in: https://community.torproject.org/relay/setup/post-install/
If you'd like more help, please let us know your relay fingerprints.

Hi,
thank you very much for your kind availability and support.
I am waiting for the reponse from the people on the bad-relays list. I provided FINGERPRINT and IP address of my relays.
Specifically, I am managing the following:
IP Fingerprint 3.225.115.238 905EB77A63857E6EFCF04D734A547B0995D85C3B (previously E7E2A76191500600982E8A0664DBDDE982F65265)
It now has ContactInfo but it is still offline. Could a relay be banned for omitting ContactInfo only?
Sincerely, Leo

A single relay? no. Multiple relays with no ContactInfo and no MyFamily, yes.

It looks like you missed my second question:
Here's a few things you can check right away:
- Did you set ContactInfo ?
- Did you set MyFamily ?
Try setting MyFamily and ContactInfo on all your relays, and then writing another email to bad-relays.

Got it. Doing it now.
Thanks a lot. Leo
