FWIW, txtorcon uses "onion:gobbldefoo.onion" for server-side endpoints. This is a somewhat different use-case (Twisted endpoint strings) so perhaps it's actually bad if they're the same, but the "onion:" prefix I think fits with the push to call these things Onion Services (instead of "hidden services") too... -- meejah
