[ux] Cancel Tors-Browser updates

Can i cancel Tor-browser updates trough the code-source code the "main.c"
file?
i know that i can cancel those updates trough the
browser->options->advanced->update-> never check..
i know its not a smart move but i'm checking few things so i want to know
if can do that.
