I would find it more useful if meetings were announced in UTC, so that
everybody is responsible to convert to their personal timezone only (and
"from PDT" on top of "to their personal timezone").

Maybe people in the US are used to play around with other people's
timezone inside the US as well, but that's not the case for me.
