Hi,

On the hunt for a Three Letter Acronym for "open" "secure" "messaging".

Here are some ideas about those names, in order.

1. Free and Open Source Software

Open, Auditable, Trustworthy, Creditable, Freedom, Open Source

2. Use of encryption

Secure, Encrypted, Private, Confidential

3. What service is provided

Messaging, Chat, Communication, Session

Thus, any combination of:

[ACFOST][CEPS][CCMS]

i.e

TCC = Trustworthy Confidential Communication

FPM = Freedom Private Messaging

>From the above it also easy to create collisions with existing acronyms if one wishes.

e.g

TPM (Trusted Platform Module) = Trustworthy Private Messaging

CCC (Chaos Computer Club) = Creditable Confidential Communications

AES (American Encryption Standard) = Auditable Encrypted Session

My 2 bits worth,

/Hugo
