I don't have the answer.
Just thinking out loud. e.g., when less experienced users don't
understand a warning.

Guessing if users haven't read how making certain changes to TBB can
make them stand out, they may think that message doesn't apply to them.

The Tor documentation page that says, " Be sure to read the list of
warnings <https://www.torproject.org/download/download.html.en#Warning>
about ways you can screw up your anonymity,"
(https://www.torproject.org/download/download.html.en#Warning) I don't
see mention of dangers in changing certain TBB default settings. Nor do
I see it in the https://www.torproject.org/docs/faq.html.
Yes, at bottom of the list of warnings page, it says, "This list of
pitfalls isn't complete."

AFAIK, there's not a concise list of most pitfalls, that new users could
quickly scan.

Many other TBB changes to Firefox are much harder to change back, than
clicking a still a functional part of the main TBB interface.
Maybe info should be added on the warning / FAQ or other pages -
concisely listing changes that users generally don't want to make, then
a link added to the TBB window resizing warning message?
