Point your browser at tor.

Then find and read a book on general unix system administration,
read the manpages for all the stuff in /bin, sh/bash, vi/emacs,
attend a local unix user group, etc.

Don't put sudo in front of every random thing you read on the
internet unless you expect to make rm -rf / run better.
