I've tried the latest stable version: 0.2.5.10, and encounted the same
issue as follows:

---------------
Mar 16 20:24:14.000 [warn] Your Guard nkatadelgormo
($A8B5CB505B08F85C7E07BBA0E2C3423EF3CEE0B2) is failing a very large amount
of circuits. Most likely this means the Tor network is overloaded, but it
could also mean an attack against you or potentially the guard itself.
Success counts are 109/225. Use counts are 64/77. 218 circuits completed, 8
were unusable, 102 collapsed, and 17 timed out. For reference, your timeout
cutoff is 60 seconds.
Mar 16 20:24:15.000 [notice] Tor has successfully opened a circuit. Looks
like client functionality is working.
Mar 16 20:24:15.000 [notice] Bootstrapped 100%: Done
Mar 16 20:26:07.000 [notice] Your Guard nkatadelgormo
($A8B5CB505B08F85C7E07BBA0E2C3423EF3CEE0B2) is failing more circuits than
usual. Most likely this means the Tor network is overloaded. Success counts
are 118/235. Use counts are 66/79. 227 circuits completed, 8 were unusable,
102 collapsed, and 17 timed out. For reference, your timeout cutoff is 60
seconds.
Mar 16 20:26:07.000 [warn] Proxy Client: unable to connect to
212.56.214.152:9001 ("Address type not supported")
---------------

In my case, I use a socks5proxy to let tor to connect to the network. I
don't know whether this is the reason that cause the above issue or not?

Regards
