[tor-talk] TBB has no tor-resolve

I have installed Tor browser bundle (TBB), currently version 2.3.25-8. But there is no tor-resolve binary. So I downloaded source code for tor (0.2.3.25), compiled it and used tor-resolve from there like this:
 
 ./tor-resolve www.google.com localhost:9150
 
Is this correct way to do this?
