Maybe a bit late, but what about proxychains?

Looks a bit better maintained. Haven't found a big issue tracker,
doesn't mean there aren't many (more). Maybe there are less issues known
because proxychains is less known?

Anyone ever looked into it? Maybe it would be a better place to start with?
