Regular users and non-users are always wondering if Tor is up on the latest research and exploits so it would be good to have that on the blog even if people dont understand it.  Developers also shouldnt lose touch with user and marketing concerns that they might see on the blog.  By threading all the parts of the project together in one place, the blog becomes the ongoing and authoritative "story of Tor".
