     Maybe.  I'm still waiting to see if someone will notice and answer my
questions about how tunneled directory connections work.  If HSDir information
can be requested via a tunneled connection without using the other end's
DirPort, then DirPort shouldn't be required.  OTOH, if tunneled connections
just mean using a circuit to get to a DirPort, then yes, I would agree with
you.
