They know I'm using a proxy(Tor)...but how?

yes I thought of that too so I tried using a library computer with
TorButton turner off in FF and I get the same message.  One time I got
an error about not being able to read my headers and so I couldn't
register.  That is why I think it may have to do with the headers.
