One of the "official" network directories, from which all directory
mirrors get their stuff. They have "master" keys for signing the
directory listings, that clients and mirrors trust.

(Don't get me wrong - this is for signing, so no one can make fake
directory listings. The master keys don't let them see any network
traffic. =:oD )

> Bad Exit

These are marked by the directory authorities, for doing "bad" things
with traffic exiting the Tor network (sniffing, modifying, injecting
code, etc.)

> Exit

Nodes which can be the last node in a circuit. They take the encrypted
traffic from the network, take the last layer of encryption off, and
send it toward its final destination.

> Guard

A node which can be chosen as the first in a circuit, under the default
client configuration. A client will pick a few of these and try to stick
with them, since this reduces the likelihood of a certain type of attack
succeeding (such an attack requires control over both the exit [last]
node and/or the destination server, and the first node).

> V2Dir

A node which has chosen to mirror the network directory.
