actually, using tor-resolve, a program bundled with default tor
installation, you can already do dns requests via tor. there's also
dns-proxy-tor, a perl script which works as a local dns server, it should
be located at http://p56soo2ibjkx23xo.onion/

I' not a tor developer, though ;-)
