Um, did you look at the link http://pcengines.ch/alix.htm that I posted earlier?

It's not software, it's hardware. The hardware supports, among others:

Software: Operating system and application software to be supplied by customer...
FreeBSD	FreeBSD (on older versions, may need to disable USB 2.0 in BIOS, or disable the EHCI driver)
Monowall (FreeBSD based)
pfSense (FreeBSD based)
STYX (FreeBSD based Secure Internet Appliances, in German)
Linux	Fluxbuntu - lighter version of Ubuntu Linux based on Fluxbox window manager
iMedia ALIX Linux - highly recommended for a quick start - fits nicely on a 512MB CF card.
Voyage Linux
NetBSD NetBSD (version 4.0RC1 tested ok)
OpenBSD	OpenBSD (works ok on version 4.1, no X11 support)
Commercial	Ikarus OS
Embed-it (OpenBSD based)
Microsoft Windows XP Home (ALIX.1C only)

Tor is a CPU hog, at least in terms of embeddeds. I posted a pointer to an x86 platform
which allows you to build a 256 MByte, 500 MHz Geode LX *with crypto acceleration*
Tor node (including enclosure and power supply) for about 110 EUR, or lower.

Have you ever tried running a Tor on a WRT54G-like platform, with
16 MBytes RAM, 8 MBytes flash and no crypto acceleration, all for 60 EUR?

Do you have other sources of Tor-suitable embeddeds for a price tag
low enough that they can be sacrificial?
