Tor log inquiry.

Hi.

I seem to be seeing a large number of:

Sep 08 00:37:20:921 [Notice] connection_ap_expire_beginning(): We tried
for 15 seconds to connect to '[scrubbed]' using exit 'nycbug'. Retrying
on a new circuit.

in the Tor log. This adversely affects the performance of my client. Is
this a problem I can fix?

Also, the following message:

Sep 08 00:51:31:343 [Warning] second_elapsed_callback(): Your server
(xx.xxx.xxx.xxx:9001) has not managed to confirm that its ORPort is
reachable. Please check your firewalls, ports, address, /etc/hosts
file, etc.

concerns me slightly. Any help? Thanks,
