Sorry Nick,

Kinda tired and distracted...

Strings trick on libevent.a gave me nothing...
the first two lines of event.h are:
  /*      $NetBSD: event.h,v 1.2 2003/06/13 04:11:31 itojun Exp $ */
  /*      $OpenBSD: event.h,v 1.4 2002/07/12 18:50:48 provos Exp $*/
First two lines of event.c are:
  /*      $NetBSD: event.c,v 1.3 2003/06/13 04:11:31 itojun Exp $ */
  /*      $OpenBSD: event.c,v 1.2 2002/06/25 15:50:15 mickey Exp $*/

Otherwise, same question, how do I check the version?

Thanks,
gene

PS So far, no warnings for no-pthreads tor cvs...I'll report in in the AM.
