Hello,

here is the October 2016 report for SponsorR:

- The prop224 HSDir code got more review, and it's now really close to
  getting merged upstream:
   https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/17238

- The prop224 ESTABLISH_INTRO code also got a round of review and revision. We
expect more review to happen during November, as it's the next component that
will get merged after the HSDir code:
   https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/19043

- Ticket #20004 got merged which contains all the trunnel code for
prop224 cells. This is good since it means less code review when we
  actually implement those cells.

- We started discussing various ways of revising the client authorization
features currently specified in prop224. This is needed before we start
getting deeper into prop224 relay-side cells:
   https://lists.torproject.org/pipermail/tor-dev/2016-October/011531.html

- We wrote a proposal on a pluggable protocol for integrating name systems
(e.g. namecoin, GNS, etc.) with Tor. The proposal is heavily based on the
  pluggable transport protocol:
   https://lists.torproject.org/pipermail/tor-dev/2016-October/011514.html
The proposal reviewed useful feedback and needs to get revised. We should
also consider prototyping this idea using a controler instead of writing code
  for little-t-tor.

- Started a thread on figuring the right magic number of introduction points
  for prop224 hidden services:
   https://lists.torproject.org/pipermail/tor-dev/2016-October/011530.html

- Continued discussion on onioncat & prop224:
