Hello Tor, hello world!

Below you'll find the highlights of Tor metrics team work done in
November 2016.

On behalf of the Tor metrics team,
Karsten

Conducted a usability analysis [1] of the current Tor Metrics website
to identify the most pressing usability issues in a collaborative
effort with Tor's UX team.

Provided user-friendly documentation [5] that empowers users to

Released Onionoo version 3.1-1.0.0 [6] as the first release of Onionoo

Released CollecTor version 1.1.1 [7] with a few smaller patches and
instructions for using nginx as HTTP server rather than Apache.

Discussed whether a future Tor Metrics website might require
JavaScript for data visualization parts and concluded [8] that, while
data sets shall remain fully available without JavaScript, our
visualizations might not, if that turns out to be a better use of our
limited resources.
