Hi!

Here's what kept Lunar busy working on Tor in May 2014:

Help desk
---------

Handled 303 tickets in English, 31 tickets in French and sorted
around 104 spams.

Sent the Tor help desk report for April.

More reviews on Pups — the web application that allows chat based
support — and a little bit of help for Colin with its deployement.

Tor Weekly News
---------------

Wrote a good amount of the 44th, 45th, 46th, and 47th issues of Tor
Weekly News. Been the editor for 44th, 45th and 46th.

We've agreed a process with Karsten on how to handle a new regular “Easy
development tasks to get involved with” column.

The tor-news mailing list has 1359 subscribers as of today.

Documentation
-------------

Worked on the build system for the Tor Browser User Manual. Did some
experiment with generating PDF. Made the build system compatible with
out-of-tree builds. Helped weasel setup a Jenkins job to build the HTML
version [1].

Worked on making the “Tor and HTTPS” visualization from the EFF
scalable and translatable [2]. More than 15 localization are already
usable.

Reworked the Tor page of the manual [3] which now includes the
aferomentioned visualization.

Discussed how the Tor Browser User Manual should be integrated
within the Tor Browser and also within the bundle. Wrote a
Proof-of-Concept warning page [4] in case the system browser would be
used.

Debian packages
---------------

Uploaded ooniprobe/1.0.2-1 to Debian unstable.

Uploaded txtorcon/0.9.2-1~bpo70+1, obfsproxy/0.2.8-1~bpo70+1, and
ooniprobe/1.0.2-1~bpo70+1 to wheezy-backports.

The latter means that ooniprobe is now available to users of Debian
Wheezy through the official `wheezy-backports` repository. Pleasing
milestone.

I've also exchanged email with Kevin P. Dyer on the best ways to get
fteproxy in Debian.

Misc.
-----

Wrote a draft report describing April activity to be sent to
SponsorF.

Sent suggestions to solve the double dock icons when meek was used on
Mac OS X [5].

Reported an issue with Onionoo's search by contact [6].

Did preliminary work on switching to a new GnuPG long term identity key
with subkeys on smartcard.

Spent almost a full week getting 25 pages of activity and financial
report ready for Nos oignons' general assembly. The reports should
become public in the next days.

What’s in for June?
-------------------

At least: supporting users, Tor Weekly News, Debian packaging, SponsorF
and SponsorO reporting, Backbone 409, Tor dev. meeting in Paris.
