[tor-reports] Moritz behind Support Desk in February

Hi,

Wow, February went by fast!

Users...

... struggle with our simple SFX Windows installer. They expect
something to happen after extraction. I wrote a first version of an
installer script based on NSIS (#7842).

... ask if we have Tor for Chomebook, iPhone, iPad. There's two Tor
browsers for iThings, one selling as Covert Browser, a cheaper one
called Onion Browser. I am not sure we want to point users at them.

... are confused about .onion.to vs. .onion. They obviously don't read
the .onion.to disclaimer either.

... run into two issues that should have been fixed since a long time in
Vidalia, adding "bridge" to bridge lines (#6724), and editing torrc from
within in Vidalia (#6147).

Several people want to use pluggable transports but can't because they
are behind a forced proxy. (#7467)

Many try to extract the new bundle over the old one, which seems to have
worked in the past, but does not for the latest. (#8336 may be related)

Turns out we have a large userbase who also has Rapport Trusteer
installed. Many banks recommend, some banks even require this security
thing that hooks into browsers and does something to "stop MITM
attacks". In past releases, it hooked into Tor Browser just fine, now,
it makes it crash silently. People see Vidalia connecting, then nothing
happens, then Vidalia closes again. (#8337)

People get scared when they see virus warnings. Several anti-virus
products flagged tbb-firefox.exe as virus. I have added to the Build
Signoff wiki page that next time we should test all binaries before
shipping.

DuckDuckGo contacted us and asked why we default to Startpage, and wants
to become our primary search engine.

The "How to verify signatures" videos say they have subtitles, but
don't? https://www.torproject.org/projects/torbrowser.html.en RT#7873

I don't want a forum. A dynamic FAQ filled by support helpers could be
more useful.
