Here are the top 5 five things I wanted to do in February:

> - Finish the Torperf rewrite in Twisted.

Not done. Made some progress here, but what I really need to do is sit
down for a few days without distractions and do the next steps under A
and B in the README.perfd [0].

> - Finish work on controller events in TestingTorNetwork mode.

Done. Wrote proposal 218 [1] and discussed it with Rob Jansen. Also
implemented this proposal [2] based on Rob's work and tested it using
Shadow.

> - Help Sathya with his Tor path simulator.

Not done, but Sathya made good progress on this himself [3].

> - Help Thomas with the data-importing parts of visionion.

Nothing to do here. Thomas was struggling with JavaScript issues and
didn't have any feature requests for the data importer that I wrote for
his visionion project.

> - Make sure we complete all sponsor F year 3 February 28 deliverables.

Done, though not literally in the sense that we completed all
deliverables, but that everybody knew what there was to do [4]. Trying
to coordinate the remaining deliverable parts in the next few weeks.

In addition to the tasks above, I worked on the following things:

- Fixed A1 entries in Onionoo's GeoIP database similar to how they're
fixed in tor's database. This means that Atlas, Compass, and other
Onionoo clients get more accurate relay location information now.

- Recovered from a broken SSD in my laptop. Good thing the last backup
was only 2.5 days old. Reduced backup interval to 1 day.

- Added a check to the consensus-health script to see if authorities run
unrecommended versions (#7725).

- Talked to Roger about sponsor F year 3 phase 2 which starts today and
ends October 31, 2013. Next steps will be to clean up the notes from
this discussion and start talking to devs.

- Analyzed bootstrapping issues in testing networks from too high
directory fetch retry schedules (#6752), but didn't track down the issue
yet.

And here are the top 5 five things I want to do in March:

- Fix too high directory fetch retry schedules (#6752).

- Finish the Torperf rewrite in Twisted, this time for real.

- Wrap up sponsor F year 3 phase 1.

- Kick off sponsor F year 3 phase 2.

- Attend dev meeting in Boston.
