Highlights from October:

My October was rather uh, interesting.

I spent a lot of time dealing with The Guardian relating to the Tor
story. It was a giant cluster fuck on every level. This took up a huge
amount of time:

I traveled to Brussels for another set of meetings at the European
Parliament. I spoke with Ladar Levinson and others at the EU Parliament:

I attended Elevate in Graz, Austria and gave the opening keynote speech:

Elevate is a political, artistic and technical festival with a heavy
emphasis on discussions by day, music and art by evening. It was a lot
of fun, I also met with the director of Plastic Planet, Werner Boote and
discussed the topics of surveillance on camera for his next film.

The Silk Road was busted and as a result, I was again bombarded with
press related questions. It was generally awful.

Totally unrelated to my Tor work, I, along with others at Der Spiegel,
revealed the existence of NSA spying on the German Chancellor Merkel:

I did a lot of Tails support for some high profile Tor users in October.
USB Towers of Hanoi, Tails edition!

All the best,
Jake
