In the rest of July I:
Travelled to Vigo, Spain for PETS.

Attended the Sponsor L #tor-dev meeting and spoke to Sebastian about
working on Thandy.

Read the Thandy spec, looked over the outstanding tickets, and started
setting up a deployment for testing.

Fixed a bug with BridgeDB's email distributor, where the string "IPv6"
in the "XXX: received from header" via a IPv6-connected mail host
(eugeni.torproject.org) confused BridgeDB into handing out IPv6
bridges to people who didn't ask for them.

Spoke with Arturo about Tor exit-scanning and OONI integration.
Traffic manipulation detection falls within the scope of OONI, and Tor
path selection support would be a useful addition to OONI. This would
be written as an OONI plugin, and people could choose to contribute to
Tor exit-scanning as a low-risk test.
