== Announcements ==

    Cure53 is engaged by the Berkeley Counter-Power Lab to do a security
audit of Turbo Tunnel in Snowflake.

    dcf has advised them to correspond on the anti-censorship-team list
if possible.

== Discussion ==

https://www.reddit.com/r/TOR/comments/kj7git/is_bamsoftwarecom_related_to_the_tor_project_in/

    Malwarebytes apparently blocks snowflake.bamsoftware.com and
snowflake-broker.bamsoftware.com.

    But this should not have happened since
https://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/anti-censorship/pluggable-transports/snowflake/-/issues/31250
(webext-0.0.6), which changed *.bamsoftware.com to *.freehaven.net?
https://gitweb.torproject.org/pluggable-transports/snowflake.git/commit/?id=bd43c345db0ef139bc2e598433d0c5f7af4d843a

    How did this user get a copy of the browser extension that still
contacts these old domains?

    Pick a reading for the next reading group discussion

== Actions ==

== Interesting links ==

    GitHub is now available in Iran:

== Reading group ==

    We will discuss "Early Detection of Censorship Events with Psiphon
Network Data" on Jan 21, 2021.

    Questions to ask and goals to have:

    What aspects of the paper are questionable?

    Are there immediate actions we can take based on this work?

    Are there long-term actions we can take based on this work?

    Is there future work that we want to call out, in hopes that others
will pick it up?
