[tor-project] hackweek in Brussels - notes

Hi!

We had a great hackweek in Brussels with the metrics, network and
sysadmin teams.

On Monday we set shared agreements [0] for the week and went through the
agenda.

We did the network team retrospective [1] and discussed how a lack of
team diversity affects the quality of our work. One of the point that
came out of there is a discussion on hiring process.

At the beginning of the week we drafted the network team roadmap[3] and
finish it [4] on Friday.

The metrics team worked on its roadmap [2] and sysadmin team went over
services[19].

Sessions we had:

. Discussion on modularization[5] for the refactoring work we will be
doing during 2019.
. Where do we want to be in 2 years? [6]
. ahf presented snowflake [7] and lead the discussion with cohosh [8]
. Helping users that are not us [9]
. Mike Perry presented the work he has been doing with asn on website
traffic fingerprinting defense [10]
. Teor presented the work on privcount and the challenges that we are
having [11]
. Discussion on code review [12]
. Chutney for the next 6 months [13]
. Juga presented what they are working on bandwidth scanner and open
questions [14]
. A discussion on the maintaner role [15] and on release planning [16]
. Metrics team discussed the work on extending OnionPerf to work with
Pluggable Transports [17]
. Last but not least an evaluation of the hackweek [18]
