The number of users had a big drop, from 7,500 to 5,000. I initially
thought that is was due to some new blocking event, because the drop was
particularly severe in China. It affected several countries too, though,
and that kind of coordinated blocking is unlikely. Our best guess for
what happened was a bug in an Orbot release:

It's since been fixed and the numbers went back to previous levels.
