There is no plan to rewrite it in Node.js. Tor Messenger is based on
Instantbird (which is based on Mozilla Gecko) on which we add some
patches and extensions for OTR and Tor.

This repository contains the scripts to download all components, patch
them and build everything in a reproducible way.
