I haven't ever tried it. Presumably it will need some tweaking before
it actually does what it's supposed to do. I hope to get around to that
pretty soon. It's clearly a requirement for letting normal users use the
OR network, since otherwise they need to get their public keys into our
routers.or file first.

Mozilla 1.0, in Edit|Preferences, Advanced|HTTP Networking, has a "Use
HTTP 1.0" button you can press.
