I have talked with the owner of the stress-testing resources I spoke of
earlier.

Here is the setup that was described to me that would be acceptable by them:

They said we could use the resources, but they weren't comfortable with the
remote access idea. So, no remote access. Meaning I would have to go back
in the lab to run the tests. However, they told me that you remote folks
could generate the test scripts that I should run if you wanted. The
WebLoad tool has a script building utility to help you devise custom client
behavior and how many connections should be made. The demo version of
WebLoad at http://www.radview.com/download/index.asp is sufficient for
building these scripts. They have a license for upto 300 connections, so we
could simulate 300 simultaneous clients with customized usage behavior.
WebLoad would gather data and present a detailed report including graphs.
If you like you could describe to me the type of test you would like and I
could create the script for it and send it to you for review and to make
changes if needed. I of course, would have to send you the results of the
tests as well. This might be the most productive solution since I would
have direct access to several people in the lab that are proficient WebLoad
users.

For information about WebLoad check it out at
http://www.radview.com/products/WebLOAD.asp

Let me know if this sounds like a workable solution so I can make
arrangements on my end as soon as possible.

Thanks.
