Comment:

 Yes, I think you're right about the test coverage. I knew there was
 something I had forgotten!

 I'll need good test coverage here, because these are some of the functions
 I'll be modifying as part of Sponsor 55. (For IPv6 extends, and
 reachability checks.)

 And I don't want to depend on chutney to test all these special cases.
