Comment:

 We did some fixes to IPv6 address parsing in #23082 in 0.4.0.1-alpha, and
 #30721 in 0.4.2.1-alpha.

 Can you please test with Tor 0.4.2, and see if this issue still happens?
 (It would also be good to test with an exit running Tor 0.4.2. The easiest
 way to do that is to use chutney: https://git.torproject.org/chutney.git )

 If the issue was fixed in #30721 in 0.4.2.1-alpha, we might want to
 backport parts of https://github.com/torproject/tor/pull/1068 to 0.4.0.
 But we should be really sure we get it right.

 I don't think we should try to backport #23082 or #30721 to 0.3.5.
